People laugh and exclaim.
Thunder terrifies for one hundred miles,
but do not lose the ladle
of sacrificial wine.

Brilliance
in the earth's core:
smothered light.
The noble one
governs the multitude
by obscurity-
but with enlightenment.

on thunder.
The noble one examines

in fear and dread.
