Don Killuminati asked:
Zhouyi, this is Don Killuminati and my question to you,is: "I know that I am hated by many and loved by few. But these few are the ones that are loyal to my through thick or thin, hell or highwater, till' death do us apart. Isn't this correct?"?
and received a response of:
43 Decisiveness
The Statement of the first hexagram
Decisiveness. Proclaim in the royal court.
Trust in the commands. Be stern.
There will be severity.
Announce to your own city.
There is no gain in going to war.
Gain by having a place to go.
The changing lines
The first line:
Strong in the feet:
Going forward, there will be no triumph
due to mistakes.
The fourth line:
Buttocks without skin: one walks uneasily.
Follow like a sheep and regrets vanish.
Instead, words are heard but not believed.
48 Well
The Statement of the second hexagram
Well. A city may change,
but the well does not.
It does not lose, it does not gain.
In spite of all who come and go from a well,
it remains a well.
But if the rope cannot reach,
or if the well's vase is upended:_
misfortune.
The Image of the first hexagram
Lake rising to heaven:
decisiveness. The noble one
bestows wealth
to those below
and shuns dwelling
on his own virtues.
The Image of the second hexagram
Wood above water: well.
The noble one encourages
the people and lends them
assistance.
