The Statement of the first hexagram

One stills one's back
and does not move one's body.
There is movement in one's courtyard,
but one does not see one's people.
No fault.

The changing lines

Stilling one's calves.
One cannot raise one's followers.
One's heart is unhappy.
The third line:
Stilling one's waist.
Splitting the muscles of the back.
Cruelty smokes one's heart.
The fifth line:
Stilling his jaws.
Speech is orderly.
Regrets vanish.

The king draws near to the temple.
