Small gains in persisting.

Mountains in the middle
of the earth: humility.
The wise person
takes from the ample
to add to the meager,
weighing and balancing
fairly.

A mountain under heaven:
withdrawal.
The noble one keeps
distant from vile people,
not with hatred,
but with dignity.
