The first line:
Gain by using great work.
Great fortune. No fault.
The second line:
Someone increases by ten groups of turtles
no one can defy. Everlasting firmness
and fortune. The king makes offerings to god.
Fortune.
The fifth line:
Have confidence in a kind heart.
Unquestioned great fortune.
Have trust in the kindness of my conduct.
The sixth line:
No increase when someone attacks.
Setting the heart without constancy:
misfortune.

The Statement of the second hexagram
Armies must be steadfast.
With a great leader
they will find fortune.
They must remain without fault.

Wind and thunder:
increase. The noble one
sees perfection
and shifts to fit its pattern,
and corrects his own faults.

The earth's center
is filled with water.
The noble one supports
the people and cares for
